In-Service Teacher Training

PHZ Schwyz offers a wide range of in-service training to pre-school, primary and lower secondary teachers. The courses aim to support teachers in their further professional development.
Supplementary courses
Supplementary courses are based on a successfully completed teacher training education and lead to a specialised job or leading position.
To be accepted on such courses, the participants are generally required to have completed a basic teacher training course followed by at least two years on the job experience. The participants pay for the supplementary courses. The canton or community may decide to participate in the costs for teachers employed in the canton or community.
PHZ offers the following supplementary courses:

MAS (Master of Advanced Studies)
minimum 60 ECTS (1500-1800 hours of study)
