PHZ Schwyz is a component part of the University of Teacher Education Central Switzerland (PHZ). It is a modern and attractive university of applied science focusing its expertise on professional training for teachers.

The new building in Goldau has been especially designed for the needs of teacher training and its modern infrastructure offers ideal conditions for custom-made studying. PHZ Schwyz is becoming a genuine centre of expertise and stimulation for education and training.

PHZ Schwyz offers the following:

• Basic teacher training for the pre-school level, primary level (1st to 6th school year), and, to some extent, also for the lower secondary level (7th to 9th school year)
• In-service teacher training
• Research and development
• Educational services
